This home is in the White Pines area of Oxford, Michigan. The homeowners selected CertainTeed Landmark Burnt Sienna shingles to compliment the brick colored wood siding and the green woodland setting of the home. CertainTeed Landmark shingles are an architectural style shingle, the manner in which the color strips are applied on the shingle create an optical illusion imitating the dimensional texture of wood shakes.

If you look in the upper left portion of the picture you can see the working scaffolds in place for the workers to stand on while installing the roof. This is what an installation might look like on a roof with a steep pitch like this roof in Oxford.

This project also included the construction of a new garden shed. The color of the shed matches the color of the house but a different shingle color was chosen, these shingles are CertainTeed Max Definition Green. This is a lifetime shingle. The shed is 8 feet deep by 16 feet wide and includes Andersen Windows. As with the roof, this photo was taken while the project was almost completed but while the shed was still being built.
